Puzzle42 has no login or account system, so there is nothing to "sign in" to delete — but you're always in control of the data stored for your device.
This immediately and permanently removes your puzzle progress, hint balance, win streak, leaderboard entry, username, and the anonymous device identifier tied to them — both on your device and on our servers. This cannot be undone.
If you simply uninstall Puzzle42 without tapping Delete my data first, everything stored locally on your device is removed right away. The corresponding data on our servers (your anonymous device identifier, progress, streak, leaderboard score, and username) is automatically deleted within 90 days.
Puzzle42 doesn't have a login system — there's no username/password, email, or account to verify who is asking. Because we can't confirm that a deletion request by email actually comes from the person who owns a given device identifier, we're not able to process data deletion requests that way. The Delete my data button in the app is the only way we can be sure the request is coming from you, which is why it's a self-service action built into the app itself.
If you're unable to access the app (for example, your device is lost or broken) and want your data removed sooner than the 90-day uninstall window, contact us at the email below and we'll help however we can.
